About Me
I’m Loujain, a graphic designer based in the UAE. I’m interested in creating meaningful design that connects people through storytelling, culture, and everyday experiences.
My work focuses on branding, typography, and packaging, where I explore how visual design can shape communication and emotion. I enjoy developing ideas from concept to final outcome, paying attention to structure, layout, and detail.
Recently, my work has explored themes of human connection and digital habits, where I design experiences that encourage people to slow down and reconnect in real life.
I’m currently a senior graphic design student and looking for opportunities to grow within a creative and collaborative environment.

Abu Dhabi Cultural Events: Publication Design
This project is a publication design focused on cultural events in Abu Dhabi. It highlights key destinations such as Manarat Al Saadiyat, the Mother of the Nation Festival, and Al Qana, presenting them through a clean and structured editorial layout.
The design combines strong typography, grid systems, and visual hierarchy to organize large amounts of content in a clear and engaging way. The goal was to create a modern publication that balances text and imagery while reflecting the cultural identity of Abu Dhabi.

Fashion Fusion: Editorial Magazine Design
This project is an editorial magazine design focused on fashion and cultural identity. It features designers such as Zuhair Murad and Madiyah Al Sharqi, presenting their work through a clean and modern layout that highlights both imagery and content.
The design explores visual hierarchy, typography, and composition to create a strong editorial flow across multiple spreads. A soft color palette and minimal layout were used to reflect a luxury aesthetic, while balancing large images with text to create an engaging reading experience.

Qidfa Campaign: Branding & Promotional Design
Qidfa is a cultural campaign designed to highlight the identity and heritage of a small village in Fujairah. The project focuses on raising awareness about traditional farming, nature, and local culture through a cohesive visual identity and promotional materials.
The design uses earthy tones, natural elements, and simple illustrations inspired by the landscape of Qidfa. A range of outputs were developed, including digital announcements and promotional items such as tote bags, mugs, and apparel, creating a consistent and engaging campaign experience across different platforms.

Matcha Honey is a mobile app designed to create a calm and engaging digital experience around wellness, organic products, and daily rituals. The app combines e-commerce with lifestyle content, allowing users to explore products, discover recipes, and learn about the benefits of matcha and honey in a simple and intuitive way.
The design focuses on a clean layout, soft earthy colors, and strong visual storytelling to reflect a natural and relaxing brand identity. Clear navigation and structured sections such as Explore, Products, Recipes, Wellness, and Spotlight were developed to guide users through the experience while keeping the interface visually consistent and easy to use.

The app brings together features such as daily prompts, skill sessions, designer spotlights, and creative challenges to encourage users to stay consistent and improve their work.

The design focuses on a balance between modern aesthetics and cultural identity, using earthy tones, clean typography, and subtle Arabic elements. The packaging was developed with a user-centered approach, ensuring durability, organization, and ease of use while reflecting the values of quality and sustainability in coffee culture.

The design translates research into a visual format, presenting information about its materials, uses, and structure in a clear and engaging way.
The visual style is inspired by the astrolabe itself, using brass tones, circular forms, and geometric patterns to reflect its design and symbolism. The composition focuses on hierarchy, balance, and clarity, combining imagery and information to communicate the connection between science, faith, and knowledge in the Islamic Golden Age.
